Patch | Timeliner XE Notice

Instructions:
Adobe recently released a new version of AIR (v 2.0) that is not compatible with Timeliner XE. Adobe would have automatically notified you when the update was available, and then installed the new version to your computer. Installing this version (v 2.0) will disable the media palette in Timeliner XE, so that your students will not have the benefit of preview images when choosing multimedia files from the program’s media library.

We are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible with an upgrade patch and an updated installation CD. Please register your product at the following url so that we can alert you when the free patch is available: http://www.tomsnyder.com/timelinerxe/registration.asp

If you have already upgraded to Adobe AIR 2.0 please go to our Timeliner XE FAQ page for our simple instructions on how to uninstall Adobe AIR 2.0 (and then how to re-install the prior version). This site also provides information on how to turn off the Adobe AIR upgrade reminders (recommended).

NOTE: The issue described above pertains to users who have installed, or are installing, Timeliner XE v.1.1. If your CD says “version 2.0” on its silkscreen, then you already have the latest version and there is no need for you to download the patch.
