Shakespeare Time Line
This excellent time line of William Shakespeare's life has a section dedicated to what other famous people, events, and publications were happening during the same period. It also contains a section showing one possible order of the publication of Shakespeare's plays.

The Life of Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's life has been studied for over two hundred years. The Mozart Project site is an excellent source for information about the great composer. You will find a chronology of his life, musical compositions, and also world events during his lifetime. There is also a biography and a family tree along with pictures and many other useful pieces of information for research.
