For Grades 4
– 6Product Features
Over the course of the trial, students will learn:
- Why some objects have more gravity than others
- Why an object's weight on Earth is more than its weight on the moon
- Why even though an object's weight changes with gravity, its mass remains the same
- How to set up experiments to:
- use a scale to measure gravity's effect on weight
- calculate and compare weight on each planet
- measure the mass of an object using a balance
- explore the relationship between mass, gravity, and weight
- How to work as a team by:
- becoming members of an interdependent group
- listening and talking with others
- sharing a common goal
